Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion - Daly Holman
“When coming into recruitment at UTK, I did not know anyone; I was excited to hopefully join a chapter that would support me throughout college, and give me women who would be by my side along the way. Chi Omega has provided me with this and so much more. I get to be apart of a sisterhood that has taught me the importance of female friendships, that platonic soulmates are indeed a real thing, and how best friends can turn into your family when you are 2,172 miles from home. My hope for all people is that they get to find their Chi O no matter where they are or what they do.
Getting chosen to serve as Chi Omega’s Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging Chair has been my biggest accomplishment of college so far. I have been challenged to educate myself, along with working with my sisters to help each women find a sense of belonging in Chi Omega. In a sisterhood like Pi, you will find women who are just like you, ones who are far different from you, and those who you strive to be just like by the time you graduate college. I wouldn’t trade this opportunity for anything in the world, for it has brought me so many blessings.
“To be womanly always, to be discouraged never,” I love you Chi Omega, you have my entire heart!”
